How do you like the floor lamp I just finished? I found the vintage lamp at a garage sale for $2.00. A few jewelry and trim embellishments and voila…shabby chic. I’ll have it at the open house at Ziaya’s Unique Imports tomorrow from 1:00 til 5:00.

I love to root my African violets, so this is the perfect way to reuse old light bulbs and get some violets to grow.

I’ve been adding thrift store and garage sale finds to my vintage hutch in my kitchen. I really love the way it turned out.

I saw this on Nate Berkus and really loved the look…I’ve done this myself and it’s fairly easy although rather messy. The results are really stunning.

I really love anything with a fleur de lis on it…I made this out of vintage jewelry that I’d been collecting for several months. All of my items are now in a shop in downtown Visalia called Ziaya’s. It’s really nice to have my own space to put my crafts.
